This observational study investigated lymphocyte glutathione levels in 20 patients with acute leukemia (both AML and ALL) compared to 20 healthy controls to determine its relationship to disease activity and chemotherapy response. Glutathione levels were nearly double in acute myeloid leukemia and 2.5 times higher in acute lymphoid leukemia patients
