This clinical study evaluated the efficacy of alpha-lipoic acid (ALA) in treating diabetic mononeuropathy. Patients received 600 mg of ALA intravenously daily for 10 days, followed by 600 mg orally daily for approximately 69 days. Results demonstrated significant symptom improvement: total symptom scores decreased by an average of 2.7 points
