This systematic review and meta-analysis assessed the risk of second primary malignancies following radiotherapy for prostate cancer. Analyzing 21 observational studies, the research found that radiotherapy, particularly external beam radiotherapy, was associated with increased risks of bladder (adjusted hazard ratio [HR] 1.67), colorectal (HR 1.79), and rectal cancers (HR 1.79)
