This 2018 randomized clinical trial evaluated the efficacy of intra-articular ozone injections versus hyaluronic acid (HA) in 174 patients with knee osteoarthritis. Participants received three weekly injections of either 10 mL ozone (30 μg/mL) or HA (Hyalgan®). Outcomes assessed at baseline and 6 months included pain (VAS) and function (WOMAC).
