Testosterone Therapy in Men With Hypogonadism Prevents Progression From Prediabetes to Type 2 Diabetes: Eight-Year Data From a Registry Study

This study examined the effects of testosterone therapy (TTh) in men with hypogonadism and prediabetes over an 8-year period. The findings indicated that TTh significantly improved metabolic parameters, including HbA1c, fasting glucose, and lipid profiles. Men receiving TTh had a 0.39% decrease in HbA1c, while controls saw a 0.63% increase.
