Methylene blue improves streptozotocin-induced memory deficit by restoring mitochondrial function in rats

This study explored the effects of methylene blue (MB) on memory deficits and mitochondrial function in rats with streptozotocin (STZ)-induced cognitive impairment. The results showed that MB treatment significantly improved memory performance in the passive avoidance test and restored mitochondrial function, evidenced by increased ATP levels and reduced oxidative stress
