It highlights that thyroid hormones influence growth through mechanisms such as feedback regulation of thyrotropin-releasing hormone (TRH) and thyrotropin (TSH), modulation of thyroid hormone receptors, and the activity of deiodinase enzymes that control local hormone availability.
