Hyperbaric oxygen therapy promotes wound repair in ischemic and hyperglycemic conditions, increasing tissue perfusion and collagen deposition

This study explores the effectiveness of hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBOT) for promoting wound healing in ischemic and hyperglycemic conditions, which are common in diabetic patients. It found that HBOT significantly increased blood flow, enhanced wound closure, and improved collagen deposition in ischemic wounds, especially when combined with hyperglycemia. The therapy
