Sulindac sulfide and exisulind inhibit expression of the estrogen and progesterone receptors in human breast cancer cells
This study investigates the effects of sulindac sulfide and exisulind on hormone receptor signaling in breast cancer cells. Both compounds were found to inhibit the expression of estrogen and progesterone receptors in estrogen receptor-positive (ER-positive) T47D cells, leading to growth inhibition.
