Antidepressant-like effects of cannabidiol in mice: possible involvement of 5-HT1A receptors
This study examines the antidepressant-like effects of cannabidiol (CBD) in mice, demonstrating that a dose of 30 mg/kg significantly reduced immobility in the forced swimming test, an effect comparable to the standard antidepressant imipramine. The study suggests that CBD’s effects are mediated through 5-HT1A receptor activation, as they were blocked
