Ultra-late recurrence of non-small cell lung cancer over 10 years after curative resection
This 2019 retrospective study analyzed 1,458 patients with non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) who underwent curative resection between 1990 and 2006. Among them, 12 cases (0.8%) experienced ultra-late recurrence, defined as recurrence occurring more than 10 years post-surgery. The majority of these cases were adenocarcinomas, with two exhibiting anaplastic lymphoma
