This meta-analysis evaluated the efficacy of hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBOT) as an adjunctive treatment for traumatic brain injury (TBI). The study, including seven randomized controlled trials with 571 participants, found that HBOT significantly reduced mortality rates in TBI patients, with a relative risk of 0.69 (95% CI: 0.54 to 0.88).
